Will my cat actually use it?
Most do, but give it time. Put the fountain where the old bowl was, leave the bowl alongside for the first week, and let curiosity do the work. Cats are suspicious of new objects and generous with anything that moves. If yours hasn’t come round in 30 nights, send it back.
How often do filters need changing?
Every 3–4 weeks. Sooner with multiple cats or hard water. A clogged filter is the number one cause of a noisy fountain.
Is it noisy?
Under 30 dB — below a whisper. If yours gets loud, it’s nearly always a clogged filter or a low water level, not a failed pump.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
The steel body, lid and spout, yes. The pump, no — rinse it and clear the impeller with the brush every few weeks.
Does it work for dogs?
For small dogs, yes. At 2.2 litres a large breed will empty it too fast to be practical.
What powers it?
USB. Any phone charger or laptop port will run it. There’s no battery, so it needs to stay plugged in.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We’re US-only while we get this right.
