What if my cat ignores it?
Plenty do at first — cats are suspicious of new objects. Put it where the old bowl was and leave the bowl out for the first week. If she still hasn't come round after 30 nights, send it back and we'll refund you, used.
Is it actually quiet?
Under 30 dB, which is below a whisper. If a fountain gets loud it's nearly always a clogged filter or a low water level — not a dying pump. Both take a minute to fix.

How often do filters need changing?
